Your data, handled with care

ChessWisdom only collects what's needed to run classrooms and track chess progress. We comply with China's PIPL and the EU/UK GDPR — including data export and deletion on request.

What we collect

• Account: name, email, grade, school.
• Activity: games played, puzzles solved, ELO, streaks, journal entries.
• School context: classroom membership, assignments, teacher feedback.
We do not sell data or use it for cross-context advertising.

How it's protected

• Row-level security — students only see their own data; teachers see their classes.
• Student activity is visible only to the student, their teachers, and their school admin.
• Data is stored on secured, access-controlled infrastructure.
• Schools can request a signed Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

Your rights (PIPL / GDPR)

• Access & export your data.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete data and close the account.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
